Shinichi Tanii is a Japanese writer and former sculptor, as well as a member of the Japan-Europe Palace Art Association.
He has exhibited his works not only in Japan, but also throughout Europe and in countries around the world.
Today, he sees saving living beings as his personal mission and travels across the globe carrying out his activities.

谷井信市は日本の作家、元彫刻家。日欧宮殿芸術協会の会員。
日本のみならずヨーロッパをはじめ世界各国に作品を出展。
現在は生命体を救うことを自身の使命とし、世界各国を周り活動を行っている。

Shinichi Tanii embodies a rare kind of spirit — one that transcends the conventional boundaries of the artist. Since the day he received what he describes as a revelation from the universe in 1977, his life has been devoted to the salvation of others. Traveling across 51 countries, he has confronted illness, death, and the very origins of life itself, pursuing a path that reaches far beyond artistic creation into the realm of profound human empathy and service to the soul.
For Tanii, his works are not merely forms of artistic expression; they are manifestations of prayer, fragments of light created to bring solace and healing to those in suffering. Seeking neither fame nor reward, he continues his journey guided solely by a pure sense of mission. His life and work reveal the deeper potential of art — not as an act of self-expression alone, but as a form of devotion and service to humanity and the world.
In Shinichi Tanii’s case, creation itself is inseparable from life. And now, the quiet light he carries within him is beginning to shine upon the land of France as well.

谷井信市は、芸術家という言葉の枠を超えた、希有な“行動する精神”の体現者である。1977年、宇宙からの啓示を受けたその日から、彼の人生は他者の救済に捧げられてきた。
病と死をめぐる「生命の根源」に挑み、世界51カ国を巡って数知れぬ命と向き合ってきた彼の歩みは、創作という枠を超え、人間の魂そのものへの深い共感と奉仕の道である。
作品は単なる表現ではなく、祈りの具現であり、救済のための光の断片である。
